In the early 1990's, following their very successful stint as the international producers of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the two principals of Cornerstone Entertainment International, Inc., Conwell Worthington and Michael Coleman, set out to create a new and innovative entertainment company with the mission of providing outstanding theatre and business theatre to audiences and corporate clients around the world who demand excellence and value. Today, Cornerstone proudly continues to provide excellence and value to both their clients and all of the entertainment projects Cornerstone produces, creates, and directs.

For many years, Cornerstone has additionally consulted with several film companies, perusing their libraries to adapt successful films into successful Broadway musicals. Because of their contacts within the film industry, Cornerstone's segue into producing feature films was a natural progression.
