Safari Smoothies & Tea
At Safari Smoothies & Tea our objective is to promote the health benefits of our delicious smoothies and South African teas we offer, such as Rooibos, Five Roses and Honeybush. Our other prominent focus is to generate awareness about the hardships of disease, poverty and malnutrition that are an everyday part of some African childrens lives and to assist in the preservation of the African wildlife.
Our Heritage
Flavor with the Taste of South Africa - While growing up in South Africa, Safari Smoothie & Tea Owner, George Mehale, drank tea every morning before walking two miles to school. I remember how good I felt, and I want everyone to have the same experience with our wonderful teas said Mehale.
Our Products
Our smoothies are made from 100% crushed fruit. These are made without additives, preservatives, corn syrup or artificial sugars.
We serve only the freshest baked goods including a wide-assortment of Bagels and Muffins. All of these products are low in calories and fat.

However, our specialty is South African Teas Rooibos, Honeybush,Five Roses, Joko Tea among others.
We are also in the process of bringing more flavors of teas from different parts of Africa..
At Safari Smoothies & Tea we feature a large healthy breakfast menu.
This includes Bagel Sandwiches (Turkey, Roast Beef, Egg, Cream Cheese and Veggie), Breakfast Burritos, Granola Cereals with non-fat yogurt and fresh fruit.
Although native South Africans had long used the various teas for health and medicinal purposes, the British were the one+s that cultivated the naturally growing bushes into one of the world+s largest commercial empires in the early 17th century.
