Founded in 1987, Bravo Production is an award-winning, full-service event planning and catering company. Under the direction of Chef Craig Kohut, Bravo Productions provides premier catering services for clients that run the gamut -- from corporate America grand openings and launch events to intimate dinner parties and commemorative birthdays. Chef Craig Kohut’s lifelong culinary passion began at an early age in his native Southern California, where he has worked in some of the best and top restaurants in Orange, Los Angeles and San Francisco Counties.
He was inspired by chefs, culinary entrepreneurs and business moguls, who taught him the art of combining and experimenting with different spices and ingredients; the science of cooking, the importance of presentation design, and the zest for knowledge in blending cuisine from all cultures to create great dishes. He also learned there is no job too big or too small. Chef Craig opened his first restaurant in Long Beach, Calif., where he was Executive Chef & Owner and lent his keen eye and creative artistry to the upscale French-Cajun cuisine. He oversaw menu development, day-to-day kitchen operations, off-premise catering, special events and staff training --ensuring clientele received the same exquisite experience that one might fine at a five-star and fun-filled restaurant in New Orleans. In addition, Chef Craig emphasized providing all customers with first-class service and helping them to understand how to celebrate the best of regions bounties.
For nearly two decades, Chef Craig has cultivated his talents and expertise working alongside some of the finest and most world-class chefs in Los Angeles. In addition, he has served as a caterer and worked as a personal chef for clients that run the gamut. Chef Craig has traveled Europe where he dined and studied the rich culinary traditions and techniques of Italy, France and Spain.
Chef Craig has applied the tremendous skills he has learned from his peers, experiences, and travels into creating fine dining experiences that run the gamut – from an authentic, rustic Italian meal for an intimate dinner party or a five-star fusion buffet for more than 200 to a classic Texas barbecue for a company picnic, Panini sandwiches as drop-off meals for meetings or Mediterranean, Cajun or traditional California haute customized for any occasion.
