Our services include: comprehensive eye exams,an on site LASIK surgery center, cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment and the management of eye diseases, eye infections and injuries. We specialize in difficult-to-fit contact lens cases (including bifocal contacts) and offer a large inventory of over 1,200 frames to choose from.

We participate with VSP, Medicare, Most Vision Plans and PPO insurance, including Cottage Hospital, Local 1036, Blue Shield, Blue Cross, Aetna, Great West, and or call with your insurance and we will check for you..
Facilities and Equipment
We offer the areas most state-of-the-art LASIK Surgery Center. Between our two locations we have all 3 US approved lasers including the Alcon Ladarvision4000, VISX, and Nidek EC 5000. We also have areas only Optomap retinal laser scanner that alleviates the need to dilate patients for routine eye exams. No more blurred vision after the exam. We have hundreds of designer and budget frames to choose from, as well as hundreds of contact lenses in stock to allow same day dispensing or direct shipping to patients. We also have a on site lens edgeing for same day glasses service. Our state of the art equipment and modern facility allows us to do thorough testing in a pleasant and comfortable setting to offer you every form of vision correction under one roof. Dr. Fausset received his Doctorate degree from UC Berkeley and opened his Santa Barbara practice in 1989. He is an active member of the National and State Optometric Associations, and is past president of the Tri-County Association. In our state of the art eye center he treats eye infections, diseases, injuries, provide pre and post operative care for our on site laser vision correction center (LASIK), as well as provide comprehensive eyecare including contacts, glasses, and the comanagement of glaucoma. Working in partnership with Paul Dougherty, MD gives patients the best all around care available today.
