Athletic Training Clinic
The clinic specializes in forming bodywork rehabilitation and personal training programs around specific physical motion and goals. Nakahara, who is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), has worked with athletes of all ages including members of competitive high school and college teams. Nakahara and his team identify dysfunctional or painful muscles and the activities associated with them, developing individualized strength and endurance programs, with the ultimate goal of making a muscle functional and putting the individual back in their game again. The staff of the Athletic Training Clinic includes a Physical Therapist, Certified Massage Therapists, Certified Athletic Trainers, and Certified Strength and Conditional personnel. All staff members are trained in Nakahara`s techniques and are devoted to working with a client to pinpoint pain and discomfort in all areas of the body. The clinic`s overall commitment is to making the quality of life better physically and emotionally for its clients. The Athletic Training Clinic has worked with Olympic, professional, collegiate and amateur athletes from around the country. The clinic recently developed a relationship with the USA Volleyball Association and Northern California Volleyball Association to provide medical coverage for major volleyball tournaments throughout the country. Working with volleyball players for the past 10 years, clinic staff members have gained the skills and knowledge to determine the causes and cures of most shoulder, back, knee, foot and ankle pain caused by daily volleyball training routines and specific injuries. Through determining the biomechanics of athletic activity and physical motion, and by utilizing Nakahara`s specialized techniques, the clinic helps to eliminate discomfort and increase function so the athlete can participate at a very high level of play. The Athletic Training Clinic helps clients determine what is happening with their body. Equally important, staff members provide methods of keeping it under control to help increase the quality of the client`s life. Call us at 510-528-1577
