Founded in 1981, Moyen & Co. Jewellers has been a vital part of the community of Westlake Village, CA, for almost twenty-seven years. Conveniently located approximately half way between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara directly off the 101 Freeway at Westlake Blvd. makes Moyen & Co. easy to reach and a delight to find.
John Moyen, owner of Moyen & Co. Jewellers, grew up in Canada. He became a part owner and sales manager for a large corporation that refined and sold precious metals. Eventually he set up an office in California and supplied gold to some of the west coastÒs leading jewelry manufacturers. In the mid 1980`s the price of gold and silver sky-rocketed, collections became difficult to the point where he had to take jewelry for payment. Henceforth, Moyen & Co. Jewellers was born.
He has been a resident of the area and active member of the community for over twenty-seven years. He is past president of The Westlakers, a local philanthropic club comprised of local business leaders, past chairman of the Westlake Village Chamber of Commerce Board Directors, and is a past director of the Conejo Future Foundation.
