Laurel Street Jewelers
We invite you to visit our store whenever you`re in the neighborhood. You`ll find that we are very friendly folks with a passion for fine jewelry and quality workmanship.
Laurel Street Jewelers was started in 1989 by Mr. Cal Noecker. It began as a fine jewelry repair business serving the wholesale fabricating needs of several retail jewelers in the San Francisco peninsula area. The business was expanded in 1992 to include retail sales and repair when Cal purchased Hilton Jewelers of San Carlos, CA. The business moved to it`s present location in 1996.
Cal is a second generation jeweler, having grown up in and around his father`s retail jewelry store in Decorah, Iowa. He attended Gem City College in Quincy, Illinois where he earned his certification as a watchmaker and jeweler. To date, Cal has more than 30 years experience as a bench jeweler and in the retail jewelry business. He has worked for more than 25 of those years in the San Francisco peninsula area.
We offer a full range of fine jewelry repair services, as well as custom fabrication for those looking for something unique and hand manufactured:
Jewelry Repair
Services include ring sizing, prong repair, stone setting, chain repair, soldering, micro-welding and much more.
Gemstone Replacement
We can replace lost or broken gemstones, or change an existing stone for one of a different color, shape, or size.
Custom Design
We can help design or work from your design or picture to create a piece of jewelry to your specifications.
Jewelry Restoration
Antique or inherited pieces can be restored to their original beauty.
Costume Jewelry Repair
If you`ve ever been told that it can`t be fixed, we can probably fix it, including pieces made of silver or base metal.
