Pixy Cell offers brand new cellphones without the activation, so there are no contracts.
We offer phones from many carriers including Verizon, Cingular, T-Mobile, Edge, Dobson and Unlocked phones.  These unlocked phones are compatible with any sim card.  The difference between an unlocked phone and a carrier programmed phone is that the carrier programmed phones have multimedia messaging service and the wap browser.
All our phones include a one year warranty based on the manufacturer's warranty, which includes manufacturer's defects.
However, this does not cover abuse done to the phone such as water-damage problems, cosmetic-related problems, and software manipulations. 
PixyCell realized that customers who wanted to get a new phone had to get them from either their carrier, who would make them sign contracts, or from websites who only sold generic phones, which prevents the customers from enjoying all the features their carrier has to offer on certain phones.
So at PixyCell, we categorize our phones by carrier, so that you can select a phone that is compatible with your network and can offer you more features than just a generic phone.
