McAulay & Wallace Mortuary has been family-owned and operated since 1911 known area wide for our compassionate commitment to all the families we serve, over the last ninety plus years we have helped hundreds of families plan and carry out celebrations of the lives of their loved ones.
Our funeral home is spacious and beautifully decorated to provide comfort during your family’s time of need. We offer 4 viewing rooms and one chapel designed to meet the needs of any family. Our chapel comfortably seats 200 guests, and each visitation room has a maximum capacity of 100. Displays of caskets and urns are available on-site. Families may select only the items they need from an itemized list contained in our General Price List, or they may select one of the discounted service packages. Most families find one of the packaged service fee items to meet their needs.Following are some of the individual service fee items we can provide.
Transfer of remains to funeral home, embalming, refrigeration (in lieu of embalming), preparation of remains in anticipation of viewing, basic services of funeral director and staff, viewing facilities, chapel, hearse, limousine, and others. Following are some of the packaged service plans.Traditional funeral chapel or church service may be arranged for with or without viewing of the remains. Graveside only services also can be arranged for with or without viewing.
Cremation services can be arranged from the simplest direct cremation without viewing or ceremony to complete services that can include viewing and the use of our chapel or a church location if desired. We also offer package plans for families wishing to ship the remains to a burial site located out of state. These can include local services if wanted or simply visiting hours here at the mortuary.
Prearrangement is the planning of a funeral before the need arises, often years in advance. Making prior arrangements for the funding of the selected service is a crucial part of planning in advance need. Moving toward peace of mind for you and your family is simple to do. It involves the preselection of a professional funeral service and funeral merchandise.
