Our contemporary Tibetan rugs are chosen for their exquisite design, texture and unmatched depth and nuance of color. By combining hand-spun, hand-carded Himalayan wool (sometimes with silk), with either natural or Swiss metal complex dyes, the spectrum of color achieved is luminous and ever changing.
Our Needlepoint and Aubusson rugs are stitched entirely by hand and made of the finest imported wools. A single piece from this collection may require as many as 70 colors to produce. The use of many colors allows the weavers to achieve crisp detail, delicate shading, and lifelike three-dimensional quality.
